The VIBGYOR of LIFE through eyes ......which cant see.

One of my friends just made this lovely plan a few days back and i thought I'll share it up here. He came up with this brilliant thought of planning an outing with the children from the blind school in our city ( lets say it here, a thought struck him )

On just hearing this plan, i was like wow!!!! what a thought and this would have been the case with you guys reading it. And i agreed to be a part of this, event (if you wanna call it). My friends planned out everything in just two days ,and planned it to perfection keeping every tiny... miny chances of error at bay.
Though i couldn't help them in the pre-arrangements but i had this in thought that i will put in all help i can on the day.

The guys had planned in everything to the clock.... be it the group of people who had to leave a bit early to make the arrangements at the farm where we had planned the outing or arranging all the stuff we may require in any case.

We were in all 18 friends and had 26 of the children from the school accompanied by two of their teachers. We all had this in mind that whatever we do we have to make it sure that the students can remember the time they spend with us. We gathered them at the school and left from there, even in the 20 minutes of journey i was surprised to find out how well few of them could play instruments or to the melodious voice of a few of them who sang in the bus. It was just in no time that we reached the farm, where we escorted them to the park and divided them into groups so that they all could be involved in different games.

I did talk to a few of them and what i found was that most of them liked to talk about how is life, what should be one's motto in life, that you should never say you have lost it, you should never ever think about it that you are inefficient and probably all such things which had been inculcated into them through there experiences in life. I did get to know about their specialties may it be as to give a superb massage or have a mesmerizing voice, to be able to make anyone laugh or the ability which most of them had to just touch and recognize things ( a thing that they had adapted in their life).

For hours we played with them, talked to them about what they like to do and they asked us what we like to do, we sang with them, enjoyed with them, and had a great great day, a day of just not enjoying ourselves but enjoying with an inner warmth in our hearts, a satisfaction of a work well done, a feeling of something great, just great....

I remember when you came back after spending time with these kids, you said 'aaj to maja aa gaya'...Happiness on your face was enough to describe your feelings.

You won't just get blessings, you also learn lots of 'How to...' from them.

You made me miss not being part of that day :(

Thats what life teaches you sometimes... How these kids are deriving joy out of their pain... how they are ready to fight Life and prove themselves :)
How they are so full of warmth, compassion and love... If only we people with WIDE OPEN EYES could learn half of how life should be from these kids :)

Thats a beautiful initiative that you and your friends have taken and now make sure you take it ahead :)
